2018 50c 1970 Holden HT Monaro - Motorsport Legend PNC

The 1970 Holden HT Monaro GTS 350 was purpose-built to beat the American Mustangs and Camaros at their own game, while also taking advantage of a loosening of regulations around suspensions, brakes, body modifications and weight distribution.

This all-Australian red and yellow coupe included a locally developed V8 engine, which powered Norm Beechey to victory in the Australian Touring Car Championship in 1970, the first time a Holden (and a locally produced car) had secured victory in this event.
