Kletus Kasady was a criminal serving a life sentence in Ryker’s Island prison when Eddie Brock joined him as his cellmate. Brock, the villain-turned-vigilante known as Venom, was freed by his symbiote alien partner, and in the chaos the symbiote left behind its offspring, which bonded with Kasady, creating the relentless and bloodthirsty villain known as Carnage!
